Olympic gold medalist Quincy Hall recently opened up about the Netflix's SPRINT season 2 docuseries project. The second part of the documentary series is scheduled to premiere on November 13, 2024.

Season 1 of the SPRINT, which was released on July 2, 2024, revolved around the stories of many athletes competing in major track and field events across the globe, leading up to the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary.

Meanwhile, Season 2 of SPRINT will cover the Diamond League meetings and National Championships before finally focusing on the athletes' performances at the Paris Olympics.

The cast for SPRINT Season 2 has been partially announced, featuring top female athletes like Gabby Thomas, Julien Alfred, Shericka Jackson, Melissa Jefferson, and Twanisha Terry. Among the male athletes, Noah Lyles, Letsile Tebogo, Fred Kerley, Kishane Thompson, Marcell Jacobs, Kenny Bednarek, and Oblique Seville are slated to appear.

However, the 400m sprinters, including Quincy Hall, haven’t been included in the list of the cast for season 2 of SPRINT. A week after the announcement of the sprinters for the documentary series, Hall shared his thoughts on SPRINT season 2, adding:

“They don’t want to add me to SPRINT 😂😂 SEEUMSAYIN”

It is worth noting that 400m sprinters haven't been revealed to be part of the SPRINT documentary series so far. Additionally, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Elaine Thompson-Herah, and Sha'Carri Richardson, who featured in SPRINT Season 1, have not yet been confirmed for Season 2.

At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Quincy Hall clocked a sensational 44.28 to top his heat and qualify for the semi-finals in the men’s 400m. There, he clocked a time of 43.95s to secure top spot once again.

Hall delivered a phenomenal performance in the final of the 400m as he came from behind and passed three runners on his way to take home the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. He won the event in a personal best time of 43.40s, ahead of Matthew Hudson-Smith (43.44s) and Muzala Samukonga (43.74s).

The timing, achieved in the final, made him the fourth-quickest athlete in the 400m distance in the history of the event.
