Quincy Wilson secured the win in the 400m, running in a personal record time of 45.13 s at the New Balance Nationals Outdoor. His time also marked a new meet record, making him the second-fastest U18 athlete. On the newsbreak, fans rallied to laud the youngster on his success, en route to the USATF Olympic Trials.
Quincy Wilson, 16, won the AAU Junior Olympic Games title at 14, by running the 400m in 47.77s. More 400m wins came at the 2023 New Balance Nationals Indoors and Penn State Relays. He repeated his feat at the 2023 New Balance Outdoors as well.
In 2024, the Bullis School (MD) standout broke the 500m world record at the VA Showcase, followed by his stellar 400m win at New Balance Indoor, where he broke the under18 indoor world record. He also won the 400m at the East Coast International Showcase and the Florida Relays.
Recently, at New Balance Nationals Outdoor, Wilson clocked a blistering time of 45.13, leaving the track world in awe of his talent. Alongside him, the fans are also in anticipation of his US Olympic Team Trials entry.

After a record-breaking start to the 2024 season, Wilson ran the 400m in 45.76s at the New Balance Indoors in Boston, clocking a much faster time than track great Usain Bolt at Wilson's age.
Growing up watching the likes of Noah Lyles and Fred Kersely sweeping wins, the Maryland-based youngster sees himself atop the Olympic relay podium.
