Following the gripping showdown at the Olympic Trials, fans were treated to an open training session of the USA Olympic swimmers. A few elite USA Olympic swimmers including Katie Ledecky, Caeleb Dressel, Ryan Held, and Katherine Berkoff received fan support and appreciation at the Triangle Aquatic Center, in Cary, North Carolina.
The U.S. Olympic swimming team commenced the training at the TAC on June 28, five days after the conclusion of the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials. With less than 20 days left for the Paris Games, fans were treated to an open training session on Saturday.
Fans in Cary turned out in great numbers to take a sneak peek at the USA Olympic swimmers training routine and showered their love towards the swimmers at the training facility as well on social media as one of them wrote,
"Wonder if the spectators got to meet anyone. Sounds like a cool experience."
Another fan, impressed at the sight of huge fans turning out to watch the USA Olympic swimmers wrote,
"Happy to see Cary turn out for our Olympic athletes. Lot of love and attention for sports in this town."
Another fan conveyed their excitement while showing confidence that the session would be a thrilling experience for kids.
"Awesome!! I know those kids will love seeing the Olympians!!"
A fan simply wrote,
"Dang, that would be awesome!"
