Simone Biles recently pointed out that the tickets for her Gold Over America Tour are running out. She also reminded everyone to wear their "gold" at the events, which will be held in different cities in the USA. The tour will commence on September 16 and continue till November 3, 2024.
Biles competed in her third edition of the Olympics in Paris after a wobbly stint at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She extended her gold medal tally to seven, having amassed the team, all-around, and vault titles. After a successful Olympic campaign, Biles has organized the 2024 Gold Over America Tour, which is set to welcome several gymnasts in a one-of-a-kind experience.
In her recent Instagram story, she updated her followers that the tickets for September 17 (Oceania) and October 6 (Boston) are sold out, while the tickets for October 4 (Philadelphia) are limited and may run out soon.
"tickets are going fast! what city is everyone going to? Dont forget to wear your GOLD," her caption read.
The Olympian also added a link to direct the fans to a website to purchase the tickets.
Simone Biles launched the tour after the 2020 Tokyo Olympics to inspire the next generation of female athletes. In the first year, the then-all-women tour sold 182,000 tickets and grossed $19.3 million across 32 cities.
In the second edition following the Paris Olympics, male gymnasts, including Brody Malone, Paul Juda, Asher Hong, and Fred Richard, will join the women on the Gold Over America Tour. Mélanie de Jesus dos Santos of France, Casimir Schmidt of the Netherlands, and Ellie Black and Peng-Peng Lee of Canada will join as international gymnasts. The theme will revolve around the redemption of the US women's gymnastics team.
Simone Biles sees the Gold Over America Tour as 'a party in the USA'
Simone Biles said the tour will be nothing but a celebration of what the US gymnasts have achieved in Paris.
"Think of Party in the USA, think of Dancing With The Stars, or like Dancing on Ice, except gymnastics version," she told Fox 26 Houston. "With Olympians from the U.S. and we have a couple guests from overseas coming to join us. But, high level gymnastics, good music, it’s just kind of like a party and a celebration of what we have done in Paris."
The other US women gymnasts to feature on the tour are Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, Joscelyn Roberson, and Hezyl Rivera.
