Australian swimmer Ariarne Titmus recently shared a note for the ball boys of the 2025 Australian Open. Titmus, a two-time Olympian is currently in the commentary setup of the first Grand Slam of the season where she is working with Channel Nine.
Besides her regular commentary duties, Titmus is also seen frequently doing other activities such as questionnaires and fun sessions with the fans, etc. She got to spend some time with the ball kids as the tournament advances to its business end.
She took to her Instagram handle to share a picture with sibling ball-boys from the event named Jackson and Ivy and shared an appreciation note for the effort that ball kids have to put in during tournaments. In the post, Titmus can be seen wearing a light blue coat as she wrote:
"Chatting with brother and sister ball kids Jackson and Ivy! Tournaments wouldn't happen without all the amazing work of ball kids."

Ariarne Titmus recently opened up about her plans to make a return to the pool. The 24-year-old has been on a break ever since her medal-winning campaign at the 2024 Paris Olympics owing to which she skipped several events such as the World Aquatics Short Course Championships.
In an interview, Titmus revealed that she is planning to go back to the pool in July and has also conveyed information regarding this to the Australian team's coaches. Additionally, Titmus also shared that taking a long break after the 2024 quadrennial games was in her plans. She said (via The Sydney Morning Herald):
"The plan is to get back in July. I’ve spoken to [coach] Dean [Boxall] about that. He said to get moving in July, I may have to start doing a little bit in the water at the end of May. That’s definitely the plan. I’ve always said that I was going to take a 12-month break off the back of Paris."
During the interview, Ariarne Titmus also said she needed a mental break from swimming before resuming her training en route to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
