The 2024 U.S. Gymnastics Olympic Team Trials will mark the last leg of the U.S. women's selection procedure for the 2024 Paris Olympics. The top 16 American gymnasts secured their spot to compete at the 2024 Olympic Trials after competing at the 2024 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships, which was held at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, from May 30 to June 2, 2024.
The national squad to represent the USA will be announced on June 30, 2024. The 2024 U.S. Gymnastics Olympic Team Trials will commence on June 27 with its conclusion on June 30, at the Minneapolis’ Target Center, in Minnesota.
After securing her ninth national title at the 2024 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships, Simone Biles will compete at the Trials as the crowd's favorite to lead the squad in Paris. The legendary gymnast will lock horns with other top gymnasts of the country, including the 2020 Tokyo Olympics individual gold medalist Suni Lee.
After navigating through a kidney issue for a brief period, Lee will compete to earn a spot to repeat the glorious feat. The two athletes will be joined by Skye Blakely, who settled in second place in the overall women's competition at the Xfinity Championships.
Other athletes, who qualified to compete at the 2024 U.S. Gymnastics Olympic Team Trials include Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, Kayla DiCello, Shilese Jones, and Leanne Wong.
