The legendary gymnast Biles is competing at her third Olympic Trials, having collected seven Olympic medals so far. She had fans amazed on Day 1, displaying her exceptional skills in all four apparatus. She performed a flawless Cheng on the vault by running to the springboard before taking a half-turn followed by a front layout with one and a half twists.

After returning to the sport following severe kidney issues, Suni Lee also cruised through the U.S. women's selection process for the Paris Olympics. She had earned a spot to compete in the U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Trials by collecting 110.65 points and bagging second place in the balance beam with 29.1 points at the National Championships.

During the podium training, Lee was seen effortlessly performing her routine on uneven bars, on which she aims to get the "Full Twisting Jaeger" named after her. She performed the Van Leeuwen following the Nabieva and Bhardwaj.

The podium training at the U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Trials also featured the gymnasts vying for a spot for their first Olympic appearance performing a few impeccable routines. Jones participated in the vault, displaying an impressive double-twisting Yurchenko, while Chiles executed a breath-taking routine on the floor.
