U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials Schedule Day 6: Noah Lyles and Sha'Carri Richardson to continue their 200m Olympic pursuit in semifinal rounds

The U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials 2024 will feature multiple events for male and female athletes on Day 6, including javelin throw, hammer throw, 100m hurdles, pole vault, 1500m, 400m hurdles, 800m, 200m, 110m hurdles, and shot put. After showing their dominance in the 100m event, Sha'Carri Richardson and Noah Lyles will compete in the 200m semifinals to earn a spot for the Paris Olympics 2024.

Richardson continued her victorious streak in the overall heats of the 200m after clocking a commendable time of 21.99 seconds. She was the only sprinter to record a sub-22 time in heats and was followed by Gabby Thomas and Abby Steiner, who registered 22.11 and 22.29 seconds, respectively.

Similar to Richardson, Lyles topped the men's 200m after posting 20.10 seconds. He will compete in the semifinals on Day 6 against a few elite athletes, including Erriyon Knighton, Courtney Lindsey, and Kenny Bednarek.

After setting the world lead on Day 4, Grant Holloway topped the 110 hurdles semifinal after clocking a stunning time of 12.96 seconds to secure a spot at the final, scheduled on Day 6 of the Trials. The 2020 Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Katie Moon will begin her 2024 Games pole vault campaign on the same day of the Trials.

Moreover, Day 6 of the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials will also feature round 1 of the women's 100m hurdles, which will be headlined by Tia Jones, who holds the personal best of the event with 12.38 seconds. She will be seen contending against Masai Russell, and Nia Ali.
