Jordan Burroughs and Vito Arujau earned their spots in the senior world team during the USA Wrestling World Team Trials held at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska. The qualified wrestlers will represent the United States at the World Wrestling Championships, scheduled from October 28 to 31, 2024 in Tirana, Albania.
Day 2 of the USA Wrestling World Team Trials on September 15, 2024, featured the final rounds of four weight categories in the men's freestyle, women's freestyle, and greco-roman events. All the categories are non-Olympic weight categories.

James Green and David Taylor secured victories in the best of three rounds at the USA Wrestling World Team Trials
The final round featured the best of three rounds format. 2023 World Champion Vito Arujau pinned Marcus Blaze in two of the three rounds with 2-1 and 3-1 to earn a spot in the 61kg men's freestyle category.
Tokyo Olympic gold medalist David Taylor defeated Zahid Valencia in two rounds in the 92 kg category, securing the second round with a technical fall. Areana Villaescusa, Jacarra Winchester, Macey Kilty, and Kylie Welker earned spots in their respective weight categories in the women's freestyle events.
