Team USA gymnast Simone Biles recently received applause from the American singer-songwriter and actress Ariana Grande during the 2024 Paris Olympics. Biles commenced her campaign in Paris on July 28, 2024, in the qualification round of the women's gymnastics.
With all eyes on one of the most anticipated events at the Games, Biles displayed her exceptional skills and once again proved herself as a formidable contender in the initial rounds. Among the massive crowd of spectators at the stadium was the American actor and songwriter Grande, watching Biles perform. She was seen rooting for the beloved American gymnast at the Bercy Arena along with her costar from the forthcoming movie Wicked, Cynthia Erivo.
As soon as the 27-year-old completed her vault routine, Grande rose to her feet and was seen enthusiastically applauding for the seven-time Olympic medalist.
During the 2024 Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony, Grande along with Erivo conveyed her excitement for watching Biles' performance. Their movie is set to release in November 2024. Along with them, other superstars including Tom Cruise and Nina Dobrev were also seen in the stadium.

Simone Biles will compete in four individual final events at the 2024 Paris Olympics
Simone Biles will compete in four individual events for the final round. She earned the spot to compete in the all-around event after topping the qualification round with a score of 59.566 points. The finals are slated for August 1, 2024, at 12:15 p.m. ET.
She also topped the vault standings with 15.800 points and was followed by Jade Carey, who showed her exceptional sportsmanship after the dramatic fall on the floor and scored 14.433 points. They will contend in the final round on August 3, 2024, at 10:20 a.m. ET. Biles clinched a gold medal in the event at the 2020 Tokyo Games.
In the balance beam, for which she won a bronze medal at the 2016 Rio and 2020 Tokyo Games, Biles will join Suni Lee to compete in the finals. The American duo will vie against Zhoi Yaquin in the final round, scheduled on August 5, 2024, at 6:36 a.m. ET.
The four-time Olympic gold medalist also secured a spot to compete in the floor exercise along with Jordan Chiles, the final round of which will be held on August 5, 2024, at 8:20 a.m. ET.
