Australian swimmer Ariarne Titmus was recently spotted in her Christmas celebrations. This comes just a few days after the 24-year-old received the Tasmanian Athlete of the Year award for her heroics at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Since the quadrennial games, Titmus has spent most of her time on vacation in and around Tasmania. She was also invited to deliver the prestigious 2024 Melbourne Cup last month. Amid this holiday season, Titmus recently spent some time at her home for Christmas Eve.
She took to her Instagram handle to share a video in which her and her friends could be seen making pizza and enjoying a movie on TV. The Tasmanian native also used Justin Bieber's song Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree as the background music.
She wrote in the caption:
"Nothing like homemade pizza and a Christmas movie ❤️🎄 Thanks to @harveynormanau @brevilleaus @lgaustralia Ad."

Ariarne Titmus shed light on her growing popularity after the Olympics
Ariarne Titmus opened up about the way she handled the growing fame after the Olympics. The Tasmanian native has competed in two Olympic Games so far in her career and has won eight medals for her country.
On a recent episode of the Inherited podcast, Titmus stated that controlling the growing fame is something that one has to learn. The Tasmanian native also mentioned that she sometimes feels 'unreal' thinking about the impact she has been able to have on the fans.
She said (at 40:52):
"It's something that you really have to learn to navigate. I think that Olympics is so bizarre how your profile can be so saturated once every four years. I think there's good and bad parts to it."
She further added:
"People remember where they were when I raced and won at the Olympics and they come up to me and tell me that I think to myself that's unreal that I've had the impact on their life and people come and speak to me when they see me."
Ariarne Titmus also added another feather to her cap this year recently when she made it to the year-end Google Trend search lists. She came out as No. 6 among Australian sportspersons. Other swimmers who made it to their respective country's lists include Leon Marchand and Summer McIntosh.
