Brock Lesnar's daughter, Mya Lesnar, was spotted honing her shot put throws in the practice zone of Colorado State University. The 22-year-old is the NCAA indoor shot put champion.

Brock Lesnar, a professional wrestler and retired UFC Heavyweight Champion, and his former fiancee Nicole McClain welcomed Mya in 2002. Though Mya Lesnar followed his father's sporting footsteps, she found her passion in track and field. She spent her freshman and sophomore years at Arizona State University before transferring to Colorado State University in 2022.

The 22-year-old made waves in the 2024 season, winning the shot put title at the 2024 NCAA Indoor Championships in Boston, Massachusetts. She continued her excellence at the Mountain West Outdoor Championship, clearing a new outdoor personal best distance of 19.08m.

Months later, Brock Lesnar's daughter returned to the Colorado State University's training ground, practicing her shot put throws, as posted by a track and field Instagram handle.

Mya Lesnar shared the post on her Instagram story.

In an interview with News 9 on June 19, 2024, after her monumental NCAA Indoor win in the shot put, the 22-year-old shared that her goal would be to make a name for herself without being under the shadow of her superstar father. She would rather prefer her father be in the shadow and support her.

"I think I’ve been in his shadow for so many years, which is cool I guess but honestly, to me, at the end of the day, what I want people to know is he’s dad to me. I honestly don’t look at him as this superstar of a person. Him just being in my corner and now me kind of being in the spotlight and him in my shadow a little bit, watching me, I think that’s super cool," the NCAA champion said.

She also noted that her father shared a valuable lesson about not letting a freshly earned victory impact her for long.

"Right after I won my NCAA title he was like, ‘Take it all in, enjoy it. And then, you know, put it away. And, you know, we move on.’ At first I was like, ‘What do you mean?'....Then I kind of thought about it... that is kind of just how life happens.... I think the biggest thing that he has taught me is, ‘Do not let your trophies or anything that you’ve done change you as a person."

As an Alexandria Area High School student, Brock Lesnar's daughter set a Central Lakes Conference Indoor Track Championship Meet record in the shot put. She has a twin brother, Luke Lesnar, who plays ice hockey and amassed three Minnesota State Champion titles.
