Along with competing in the 100m, Fred Kerley also competed in the 200m dash at the Brussels Diamond League; however, he fell short of attaining a podium finish in the event, securing fifth place. His fellow American athlete, Kenny Bednarek, won the event by clocking a time of 19.67s.
