WATCH: Gabby Thomas shares glimpses of dreamy off-season Maldivian vacation with her boyfriend in an ocean resort

Gabby Thomas landed in the Maldives for her off-season trip with her boyfriend, Spencer McManes, and enjoyed the first day in picturesque settings. She also indulged in good food and toured the resort on a bike, days after concluding her 2024 season at the Athlos NYC.

Thomas had a successful stint at the Paris Olympics, winning two relay golds in the 4x100m and 4x400m and clinched the individual win in the 200m. She also clocked a blistering speed to win the 200m dash at the London Diamond League earlier this year. However, she was not part of the DL finals as she focused on competing at the inaugural edition of the Athlos NYC, where she lost the gold podium to fellow American Brittany Brown.

After concluding her season, Thomas landed in the Maldives for her off-season vacation and was seen in beautiful settings at Joali Being Resort on Bodufushi Island. She posted a vlog on her first day, combining small clips and voiceovers to give the fans a virtual tour.

"We took a seaplane from the Maldives Airport to the resort. It was absolutely beautiful and we were greeted with mocktails when we arrived. Our guide took us to our villa and oh my gosh, this villa is so beautiful. Our villa sat right on the ocean so we opened our door to our pool and the beautiful ocean view," she illustrated.

She then continued describing how a personal bike for every guest helped them tour the villa. Tired after traveling, Thomas stepped out for dinner hosted by the resort wearing a scarf as a top and accessorized it with the new Prada bag she got from Germany.

Thomas wrapped up the video, saying:

"Spencer and I had the best dinner ever and then called it a night early. Can't wait for tomorrow."

The three-time Olympic gold medalist also wore a perfume gifted by her aunt to match the night's vibe.

Gabby Thomas' dog, Rico, whom she adopted on August 12, 2020, accompanies her in practice sessions and often features in the Olympian's social media videos. Recently, the two-time World medalist and her boyfriend built a wooden dog house for Rico and shared the process on TikTok.

In the video, the couple was seen reading the manual and assembling the wooden frames to form the structure. After building the house, Thomas decorated it with a bone-shaped nameplate reading 'Rico'. The video ended with the dog seated inside the house, with the in-video caption,

"A literal king"
