Gabby Thomas and her boyfriend Spencer McManes hilariously revealed how the wait staff stopped them after their third Spicy Margarita in one hour. The couple embarked on a trip to Maldives after Thomas concluded her Paris Olympic campaign.

Thomas and Spencer McManes have been in a relationship since 2022 and the latter often starred in the Olympian's social media posts. In March 2024, they attended South by Southwest festivals and shared the frame with McManes' parents. Months later, they traveled to Paris for the Olympics, where Thomas added three golds (200m, 4x100m, and 4x400m relay) to her repertoire and her boyfriend was a constant source of support.

In the second week of October, the Olympian and the former football quarterback of Yale University landed in the Maldives as Thomas' off-season trip before a fresh track season kicked off. She posted a couple of photos and videos to offer a snippet of their enjoyable time at Joali Being and turn heads with picturesque beach shots.

On October 10, 2024, the 27-year-old posted a fun TikTok video with her boyfriend, both grooving to 'Wait' and admitted getting 'cut off' by the wait staff after three Spicy Margaritas in an hour. The in-video text read:

"My and my bf when the wait staff cuts us off after our 3rd spicy marg in one hour."

The three-time Olympic gold medalist hilariously confessed that she and McManes were okay despite the cocktail overstimulation.

"We're good I promise"

On October 9, the American track athlete posted a photo carousel of her wellness journey in the Maldives, exercising in the gym, posing with her boyfriend in bathrobes, and tea-tasting activities at Joali Being.

Thomas recently participated at the 2024 Athlos NYC as the 200m headliner but faced defeat to gold finisher Brittany Brown to settle for silver.

Gabby Thomas has been posting regular vlogs of her Maldives trip on social media. In her latest Instagram story series, she expressed delight in having participated in a fun cooking class, making a plate full of delectable sushis.

Her first story offered a glimpse of the kitchen, paired with the caution:

"So stoked for this cooking class"
