Ilona Maher sheds light on her New Year's resolutions
Ilona Maher recently opened up about the changes she would want to imbibe on herself in the coming year.
In an interview with Parade, Maher revealed that she doesn't think much about making New Year's resolutions. She also mentioned that she only wishes to try out new things which she is interested in trying. She said (via Parade):
"I don’t actually make New Year’s resolutions. I just say, ‘This is something I might want to try to do in the New Year.’ I’ve never had goals like 'lose 30 pounds' or 'I’m going to do this here.' My resolutions have been saying yes to more things that I truly want, and also saying no to things that I’m kind of iffy about. If it’s not an emphatic yes, it’s a no.”
During the interview, Maher added that even though she is excited about the future, she is looking to take things as they come. Notably, Maher is expected to make her Premiership women's rugby with the Bristol Bears in the coming year. In 2024, the 28-year-old helped the US rugby sevens team win a bronze medal at the Paris Olympics.
