Jordan Chiles was honored to be the flag raiser for the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field in Washington in their match against the Miami Dolphins. The American athlete recently returned from the Paris Olympics and has been in a pool of controversy due to the bronze medal in the floor exercise.

After a lot of consideration, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) ruled that the Romanian gymnast Ana Barbosu, who stood fourth in the floor exercise, had to be awarded the bronze medal as Chiles's coach Cecile Landi had crossed the stipulated appeal time of 1 minute in the French Capital. The U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) described the ruling by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) as ' significant procedural errors' and will continue to appeal the ruling.

Amidst all the ongoing controversy, Jordan Chiles returned to the gym and has been a part of the famous ' Gold Over America Tour' alongside Simone Biles, Joscelyn Roberson, and many others. Moreover, she appeared at the VMAs and the New York Fashion Week. She got the opportunity to become the flag-raiser at Lumen Field ahead of the match between the Seattle Seahawks and the Miami Dolphins.

Seattle Seahawks took to social media to share a glimpse of Jordan Chiles hyping the crowd as she raised the flag.

"An Olympic gymnast from Vancouver, Washington. Jordan Chiles is today's 12 Flag Raiser," read the caption.

Jordan Chiles receives a bronze clock necklace from Flavor Flav after bronze medal controversy

Rapper Flavor Flav honored Jordan Chiles with a bronze clock necklace at the VMA's midst of the ongoing medal controversy from the Paris Olympics. As the CAS ruling became public, Flavor Flav took to X to extend his support to Chiles and wrote:

"Ayyy YOOOO @ChilesJordan, imma make you a BRONZE CLOCK NECKLACE,,, and that’s something NO ONE else has,!!! Hit me up my girl,,, I gotchu,!!!"

He ultimately fulfilled his promise at the VMAs and gave Chiles a bronze clock necklace.

"They tried to take your medal away from you. I got you something that they can't take away from you. And guess what else, too. I got your prize money, too. I got that for you. I got that for you. I got your prize money for you. I just wanted to surprise you with that. I didn't want to say nothing to you backstage. But Jordan, you did your thing. Congratulations. You deserve everything,"he said while presenting the necklace.
