Jordan Chiles looks serious for the 2025 season. Ahead of the NCAA championships, the Olympic champion contributed an impressive performance in UCLA's inaugural meet for the season.

Chiles represented the University of California, Los Angeles at the American Gold Classic, where UCLA stood third overall with a score of 195.250. Chiles was the only gymnast from UCLA who managed to outperform others, especially in the uneven bars and the vault category.

In the vault, Chiles scored an impressive 9.900, and she repeated the performance in the uneven bars. She mentioned after the performance,

“Coming out here being a grad student, and adding events to something that you know you always want to be able to enjoy, and having this ability to dominate and do what you need to do is amazing.”

The American Gold Classic meet is Jordan Chiles' inaugural meet for the season, her first major event after the Paris Olympics. While Chiles contributed to the team's all-around gold medal, she missed out on an individual medal in the floor exercise event, finishing fifth overall.

Jordan Chiles recently opened up about the success at the Paris Olympics, as well as the events that followed it. Sharing a few pictures from the Olympic trials, and her presence at the US Open, the gymnast wrote on her Instagram post,

"Thank you 2024. It’s been a crazy year but couldn’t be more proud of myself being able to push past every barrier that has came my way. From letting go of friendships to gaining even bigger ones, to wanting to become an Olympian to being a 2X Olympian, from watching the VMAs at home to presenting, being in magazines that I’ve always dreamed of, and for meeting the most amazing people in my life, and many more!!"

Chiles further added,

"To everyone that has supported me and continue to support me, I love you guys so much! Can’t wait to see what 2025 has in story for Miss That Girl!!"

Jordan Chiles had an eventful outing at the Paris Olympics. If not for the controversy around the bronze medal in the floor exercise, the gymnast had performed brilliantly compared to her previous outing at the Tokyo Olympics.

Apart from her soon-to-be-published memoir titled 'I'm That Girl', Chiles will soon be seen in action on January 11, when UCLA will be in action at the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad, against the likes of Arkansas University, University of Kentucky, and the Ohio State University.
