Jordan Chiles was recently seen flaunting her dance moves during her off-season. The gymnast recently wrapped up her 2024 season after performing at the Gold Over America Tour.
The GOAT was launched by Simone Biles after the 2020 Tokyo Olympics to celebrate the Olympians. She launched the second edition of the tour after the Paris Olympics, which inculcated both men and women gymnasts, such as Chiles, Jade Carey, Hezly Rivera, Joscelyn Roberson, Paul Juda, Brody Malone, Fred Richard, and several more.
This tour for gymnastics commenced on September 16 at Oceanside and concluded on November 3 in Detroit.
Chiles recently shared a glimpse of how she is spending her down time by sharing a video on TikTok, where she was seen dancing to the song 'Watchu Know About Me' by Glorilla & Sexxy Red. The gymnast showed off her moves in a white co-ord set and a black bandana on her head.
Here is the video of Chiles' moves:
Chiles concluded the Paris Olympics campaign with one gold medal in the team all-around event, and along with this, she was also a part of the bronze medal controversy, where she was ripped off her medal in the floor exercise and was shifted to the fifth position.
Jordan Chiles opened up about the bronze medal controversy
Jordan Chiles recently sat in an interview with NBC's Honda Kota, where she reflected on her feelings about returning the bronze medal at the Paris Olympics. The American gymnast initially scored 13.666 points in the floor exercise and was placed in the third-fifth position, but an appeal was filed by her coach, Cecile Landi, after which her score was increased to 13.766 and she was awarded the third place.
However, she was ripped off her medal in less than a week after Romania Gymnastics filed a complaint, stating that Kandi's appeal was four seconds late. Following this, Chiles was pushed back to the fifth position. Weeks after this incident, Chiles expressed her frustration, saying:
"It's hard to tell yourself everything is going to be fine when we literally didn’t do anything wrong. Everything was in the time that it needed to be. For them to come back and say it was four seconds too late when we have proof… I can only control what my truth is and I know that we were right," Jordan Chiles said.
She further opened up about the importance of that individual medal and said:
"It was like a cherry on top. My redemption tour going into Paris was 'Yes.' Coming back with a gold, coming back with the understanding that I was able to go out there and be the best version of myself. With this floor medal it was like 'Wow, I never expected myself to make a floor final."
The bronze medal that Jordan Chiles initially received in the floor exercise at the Paris Olympics would have been her very first individual Olympic medal.
