In a video featuring herself working out with her fiancé, Norwegian alpine ski racer Aleksander Kilde, Mikaela Shiffrin, the three-time Olympic medalist, showed off her dance skills.

Mikaela Shiffrin holds the title of the winningest alpine skier of all time for her 97 career World Cup wins and seven world championship titles. She is also the youngest skier, both male and female, to win an Olympic slalom. In addition to that, Shiffrin is the only skier in FIS Ski World Cup history to register a World Cup win in all six alpine skiing domains (slalom, giant slalom, parallel slalom, alpine combined, super-G, and downhill).

Shiffrin, the Colorado native, also found the love of her life in the same sport that she has dedicated herself to. She met Aleksander Kilde, a two-time Olympic medalist, during a skiing camp and became friends. Kilde confirmed in 2021 that he was dating the American. This year, in April, the couple announced their engagement through a joint social media post.

The couple had a turbulent start to 2024 as Shiffrin got injured during a downhill race in January, while Kilde sustained injuries in his right shoulder and right calf during a World Cup downhill race in February. But the two recovered from their injuries soon. Kilde got back to his skiing endeavors in June, while Shiffrin made a comeback in March.

To ensure that they stay in their best shape, the skiing pair works out regularly and shares videos of their routines with their fans. As in the recent one, Mikaela Shiffrin posted a video on her Instagram handle where the duo could be seen dancing while working out.

"Silly-dancing is the BEST way through a session," she wrote in the caption.

Apart from their skiing pursuits, Mikaela Shiffrin and Aleksander Kilde have constantly been in the headlines for their gushy vacations. They love each other's company, and their pictures from a Mexican getaway caught the attention of fans in May.

During an interview with People, the 29-year-old Shiffrin shared how much she loves to travel with Kilde and stated:

"It's always nice to travel with my boyfriend. He keeps the mood light and makes workouts super fun."

Mikaela Shiffrin is now gearing up to embark on her 2024/25 season, which will kick off in October.
