Mondo Duplantis and his fiance, Desire Inglander recently starred in the H&M's Guest Designer Archive commercial. The couple got engaged on October 11, 2024.
The pole vaulter's fiance shared a video of their advertisement for H&M on Instagram, where they were seen promoting the Pre-Loved Guest Designer Archive of the brand. The video started with Duplantis opening the car gate for Inglander, with both of them donning black-colored attires and wandering the streets and hotels across New Orleans.
"Advertisement for @hm. Tomorrow, October 29th, the Pre-Loved Guest Designer Archive arrives at H&M Drottninggatan and Götgatan in Stockholm, and online worldwide on October 31st. So many memories tied to these iconic collections!"
Mondo Duplantis announced his engagement with his long-time girlfriend, Desire Inglander, on social media on October 15. He surprised her during a shoot for Vogue Scandinavia on October 11 by bringing out the ring from his pocket, which Inglander at first thought was a joke.
However, after realizing the seriousness of the moment, she said yes. The two posted several photos on Instagram where the pole-vaulter was seen wearing a black-colored tuxedo while his fiance wore a white-colored gown.
Mondo Duplantis' fiance Desire Inglander penned a heartfelt note for the pole-vaulter
After getting engaged to Mondo Duplantis, Desire Inglander shared a video of the proposal on Instagram and then re-shared the same on her stories, where she opened up about the significance of the moment for her. Along with this, she also added a cute note for Duplantis.
"I can't describe the last few days. Forever is not enough @mondo_duplantis," she wrote.
Following this, she added another story where she revealed her experience of witnessing the appearance of the Northern Lights during her engagement. Sharing a picture of her and Duplantis kissing, Inglander wrote:
"I have much to share from the past days but I will enjoy this a little bit more before I do. I had to share this one picture from yesterday: We had the engagement party at the beach, then suddenly someone pointed at the sky and said that it’s the northern lights. Neither Mondo or I have ever seen it, so this moment was unreal. Life is beautiful."
Mondo Duplantis had an incredible 2024 season as he dominated the Paris Olympics campaign by winning a gold medal in the pole vault after soaring to the height of 6.25m, breaking his world record for the ninth time.
Following this, the 24-year-old surpassed his world record for the tenth time at the Silesia Diamond League by taking a leap of 6.26m, bringing a notable end to his 2024 season.
