Noah Lyles recently got engaged to his long-time girlfriend, Junelle Bromfield, who is also a Jamaican athlete. The latter shared a bunch of videos with her fiancé, giving a glimpse of their quality time spent together.

The couple got engaged on October 12, and the 100m Olympic champion shared the news of the engagement on Instagram. He shared a video of them, where they were seen entering a location while holding each other's hands and walked toward a giant pink heart decorated with pink roses and the question, 'Will You Marry Me?' written in blocks on the side. He got down on one knee and gave the ring to Bromfield.

Days after getting engaged, Bromfield shared a bunch of videos on Instagram, which included her favorite moments with Noah Lyles. The first video featured them singing together in their living room, and Lyles was seen doing some dance moves. The second video was a clip from a mic'd up session with Junelle on track practice. The two of them were seen having fun, and she spoke about being reminded of Jamaica whenever she is in New York.

She shared another video of a mic'd up session in the third clip, and the last video had the couple doing a question and answer sessions with the fans. The caption of the post read:

Noah Lyles recently made a controversial statement about having information about the Jamaican camp that nobody knows and credited his girlfriend for the same. This irked fans and led to online hate and controversy towards Junelle Bromfield. To comment on the same, she appeared on the Sim Soul Sessions, where she received a special video message from Lyles.

The 27-year-old exuded pride in his girlfriend, and lauded her resilience and tenacity to handle tough times.

"I'm just here to probably vocalize some of the ways that I feel that you've shown your resilience and shown your strength and it's hard at times I know, but you know, you're a game changer you might not want to be, that's what you are," Noah Lyles said.

He added:

"Now everything that God has put in your life, has been one step forward to moving, to inspiring the next generation, and I know it's uncomfortable, but he prepared you for this moment, and I've seen the way that you fought through..."

Noah Lyles wrapped up his 2024 season after a successful Olympics campaign, where he won a gold medal in the 100m by clocking 9.79s and a bronze medal in the 200m, despite suffering from COVID-19.
