Noah Lyles has been honored with a pearl and gold cast necklace for his Paris Olympics exploits. The American athlete ended his 2024 Summer Games campaign with two medals.

Lyles finished first in a closely-contested 100m at the Paris Olympics after clocking 9.79s and defeating his arch-rivals Kishane Thompson and Fred Kerley, who claimed second and third place with times of 9.79s and 9.81s, respectively. The 2024 quadrennial event was a roller-coaster ride for the American athlete, as he tested positive for Covid-19 before the 200m final.

However, the 27-year-old competed in the event and finished third with a time of 19.70s. He was beaten by Letsile Tebogo, who clocked 19.46s and clinched the gold medal. Kenny Bednarek claimed second place with a time of 19.62s.

Following his impressive showing at the 2024 Olympics, Noah Lyles has been honored by a necklace from Avianne & Co. The necklace is cast in gold and features Japanese pearls, and also has the word 'ICON' engraved on it. They shared a video of the necklace on Instagram, with the sprinter trying it on. Explaining the details, they wrote in the caption:

Noah Lyles opens up about prospect of running in the 400m

After competing in the 100m and 200m races at the Paris Olympics, Noah Lyles recently opened up about the possibility of him running in the 400m. He stated that he is capable of setting the 400m world record.

The American sprinter recently appeared on the Nightcap Podcast, which is hosted by Shannon Sharpe and Chad Johnson, and spoke about his 400m prospects.

"Jereem Richards – he is a 19.80s 200m runner. And he decided that he was going to focus more on the 400m this year," Lyles said. "He was in that (Olympic) final. He got fourth with 43.78s. New national record. I believe it’s in the top 10 all-time fastest times. My PR is 19.3s in the 200m. And I have some pretty good strength on me as well. I truly would like to take a shot at the world record if I decide to move to the 400m truly and give it my 100% for multiple years – yeah I’m going after the world record."

He also spoke about how he may approach the 400m race:

"My brain understands it. My body doesn’t know the difference. Why would my body think that’s a hard time? My body don’t know that that’s hard. If I keep telling it to get faster and faster, it’s going to try and adapt. It’s going to keep moving toward that time."

Noah Lyles currently has three Olympic medals to his name, of which one is gold and two are bronze.
