Noah Lyles recently unveiled his newly received collection of limited Konami gifts, igniting his passion for anime. He expressed his excitement over these unique collectibles.
He has frequently shown his love for anime during the meets, including pulling out the rare Blue-Eyes White Dragon Yu-Gi-Oh! card, published by Konami from his unitard at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials. He drew out the card after placing a bet with world champion shotputter Chase Ealey.
The bet involved Ealey wearing the Rock Lee weighted shoes inspired by the Naruto anime every time Lyles pulled out Yu-Gi-Oh! cards before races. The Paris Olympics gold medalist recently showcased the latest gifts he received from Konami, including a set of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, white sneakers, and a rug.

"Not your average unboxing day. Thanks @konami! #yugioh #blueeyeswhitedragon," Lyles wrote.
He then took to Instagram stories to share the Blue-Eyes White Dragon resin-painted statue.
Further, he also posted a video of white sneakers with White Dragon graphics he received.
Soon after sharing a glimpse of the shoes, Lyles was delivered another framed Dark Magician card to his collection. In the video shared on his Instagram story, the American sprinter can be heard saying,
"As soon as I posted that video, I got a knock on the door to deliver something from Konami. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, this time they sent an authenticity certificate," he said.
