Olivia Dunne recently made a spectacular debut as a super senior at LSU, captivating the crowd with a flawless performance on the uneven bars. The Tigers' gymnast made her first appearance in her final year at LSU at the Gymnastics 101 Exhibition on Monday, December 16, 2024, at the Maravich Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
The LSU gymnast and social media sensation made her return to the university's gymnastics team for her fifth year after clinching a historic feat in the last season by securing the Purple and Gold Pack's first-ever NCAA Gymnastics Championships title by posting a dominating score of 198.225 points to triumph over California and Utah's women's gymnastics squads, who collected 197.850 and 197.800 points, respectively.
At the Pete Maravich Assembly Center, Dunne performed an impeccable uneven bars routine, executing each move with a perfect combination of strength and elegance, leaving no room for error. Commencing her performance by executing a flawless handstand on the high bar, she went on to deliver a few impressive transitional elements before concluding her performance with two full twist dismounts and a perfect landing.

The LSU Tigers will compete in their first meet in the 2025 season against Iowa State on Friday, January 3, 2024, at Maravich Center in Louisiana.

Olivia Dunne recently showed her confidence in the team, stating her excitement about the new year and having to opportunity to bond with teammates and the impressive talents of freshmen.
In an interview with New York Post Sports, she conveyed her and the squad's preparedness for the upcoming year.
"Yes we we won but it's time to turn the page like it's a new year, new group of girls. It's a different team," Dunne said. "It's a new year and a new mindset and we have to rebuild bonds with new girls that are on the team and it's fun like that's part of the fun of being in college...getting to meet new people and our freshmen this year are so good at gymnastics and I just think our team is like...the raw talent of the team is incredible. So I think there's no lack of talent. It's just that we got to put all the pieces together." (1:23 onwards)
Kailin Chio, Kaliya Lincoln, Zoe Miller, Victoria Roberts, and Lexi Zeiss will join the Tigers squad as freshmen for the 2025 season.
