Louisiana State University gymnast, Olivia Dunne, recently shared clips from her pre-season workout. This comes after a successful 2024 season that saw her school, LSU, clinch its first-ever NCAA Championship.
Following this victory, Dunne also announced that she would be returning for her fifth year taking advantage of the Covid eligibility. Owing to this, the New Jersey native has already started her preparations for the upcoming season as she looks to help the LSU Women's Gymnastics side defend the NCAA title.
Dunne took to her official Instagram handle to share a video of her preparatory session before the onset of the new season. In the video, Dunne is seen flaunting her amazing flexibility as she does some bar exercises and also some other workout training. She wrote in the caption:
"5th times the charm!"
On a personal note too, Olivia Dunne has had a successful 2023-2024 season in which she clinched two major collegiate titles, the SEC Championship and the NCAA Championships and also won the SEC Honor Roll along with the LSU team. Her performance in the bars apparatus was superb throughout the season, averaging 9.838.
In the 2024 season, the 21-year-old also produced impressive performances in the floor exercises apparatus and posted career-high scores of 9.9 twice. On the back of such notable performances, Dunne would be confident to get back on the mat for the Louisiana State Gymnastics for her fifth and final collegiate year.
