Two-time Olympian and social media sensation Alica Schmidt recently celebrated her 26th birthday in style, sharing special moments from her celebrations with her fans. She gave a behind-the-scenes look at her celebration, including time spent with her friends and loved ones.

Schmidt made her debut at the Games during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where she was a part of the German realy team. However, being an travel alternate for the mixed relay team, she couldn't display her skills at her debut appearance.

The now 26-year-old began her sprinting training at MTV Ingolstadt, in southeast of Germany. She has represented the German squad at multiple events before competing in gthe Olympics. She became a social media sensation after Australian magazine Busted Coverage gave her the title of "world's sexiest athlete" in 2017.

As of now, she has amassed a huge following of 5.7m followers on Instagram, and 2.2m on Tik Tok. For her 26th birthday, the German athlete opted to spend time with her close ones. Before delighting in the festivities in the night, Schmidt was seen training in the morning, showcasing her unwavering dedication to the sport. She posted a mirror selfie in nher workout outfit and wrote:

"Start your birthday right."

The sprinter was also seen savoring a delicious cske, the glimpse of which she shared with her fans.

Following her second appearance at the Games in the French capital, Alica Schmidt embarked on multiple quick getaways, soaking in the off season vibes before retruning to the track for the 2024-25 season.

The German athlete was seen savoring the off-season at multiple locations, including Italy, Thailand, and Maldives. She was seen riding a jet ski while embracing the serene nature and posted a video of herself writing:

"Making memories 💙🌊"

The athlete commenced her 4-week long vacation with a post on social media, where she was seendonning a long brown dress and wrote:

"Off season has started ✨🌞 get ready for 4 weeks of vacation content."

Schmidt competed in the mixed 4x400m relay event along with teammates Paul Bredau, Manuel Sanders, and Eileen Demes but fell short of earning a spot to compete in the final round.
