Tyla, the South African singer and songwriter who performed at the 'Prelude to the Olympics', eagerly awaits Simone Biles' performance at the 2024 Summer Games. Biles will make way to the Olympic stage as the podium favorite in all the gymnastic events.

Biles won five medals at the 2016 Rio Olympics including the all-around champion title. Although her Tokyo Olympic scenario was wobbly in the wake of 'twisties', she marked her comeback at the 2023 US Classic, building up to the Paris Olympics. Since then, she collected her sixth World title, ninth National title, and seventh US Classic title, besides the Paris Olympic qualification as the top seed.

Biles garnered fan love for her prowess on the gymnastic mat since her rise to fame at the 2013 World Championships, where she won the all-around gold medal at just 16. Recently, even Tyla made her pick and awaited watching Biles in action.

In an X post by NBC Olympics & Paralympics, when the former was asked:

"What Olympic athlete are you excited to see?"

She unhesitantly replied:

"Simone, Simone, Simone!"

Ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony and main event, prominent names of the film, sports and entertainment industry graced the 'Prelude to the Games' night to usher the quadrennial Games in Paris.

It was held at the Frank Gehry-designed Fondation Louis Vuitton on July 25, where Tyla, dressed in a Louis Vuitton black-and-golden attire, performed in front of the star-studded setting.

Simone Biles will head to the Olympic stage in pursuit of five more Olympic gold medals to add to her repertoire. Four of her Tokyo Olympic teammates, Jordan Chiles, Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles and Jade Carey, will also join her in the 'redemption tour'.

Simone Biles left Taylor Swift in awe at her floor routine on 'Ready For It?'

Simone Biles was in top form at the 2024 US Olympic Trials, which not only earned her an Olympic qualification but also immense fan love. She used pop icon Taylor Swift's song 'Ready For It?' and set the floor ablaze on Day 1 of the event.

Taking to her X account, she replied to the original video posted by NBC, captioning:

"Watched this so many times and still unready. She’s ready for it tho," pairing it with claps, gold medal and the US flag emojis.

During Simone Biles' turbulent time at the Tokyo Olympics, where she landed below-par scores in most of her routines, Taylor Swift prepped the world up for the former's final beam routine, in a heartwarming narration.

In the video, Swift put her finger on Simone Biles' resilience and perseverance and called her a 'hero'.

"She's perfectly human and that's what makes it so easy to call her a hero"

Biles will vie to extend her Olympic gold medal tally to nine at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
