The Paris Olympics are just around the corner, ready to kick off in 19 days, and several athletes, including Anna Peplowski, have qualified for the quadrennial event for the first time in their careers. Excited for the French spectacle, Peplowski showcased Team USA's swimming gear haul in a recent video.
Anna Peplowski was among the women's 20-member squad of swimmers who secured their tickets to the French Games at the Olympic trials held in Lucas Oil Stadium, Indiana, in June. The 21-year-old will represent the United States in the 4x200m freestyle relay in the Aquatics Center, Saint-Denis, for her maiden Olympic medal.
Just ahead of her big outing, Peplowski gave a sneak peek into the Team USA gear haul she received after the trials. She received three suitcases filled with various items, including a pair of kickboards, fins, water bottles, gloves, a winter hat, three casual hats, a Team USA towel, racing suits, practice suits, and sunglasses.
In terms of clothing, the athletes received three pairs of spandex, two pairs of leggings, shorts, sweat pants, sweatshirts, compression wear, a hooded jacket, and a bunch of t-shirts with Team USA written on every piece of gear and equipment.
"Swim Swam" posted a video of the same on their Instagram handle, writing:
"Hugggge shoutout and thank you to 2024 Paris Olympian @anna_peplowski for sharing her TYR Team U.S.A. gear haul with us. "
In the video, she also added that the athletes will also receive an additional suitcase filled with opening and closing ceremony fits once they enter the Olympic Village.
