Sha'Carri Richardson, Jakob Ingebrigtsen, and Eluid Kipchoge recently starred in Nike's signature commercial for the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris. Along with these track stars, Nike featured some of the best athletes across all sports, as the world marches towards the coveted Paris Olympics.

Sha'Carri Richardson will be participating in the 100m dash, marking her debut at the Olympics. The American athlete dominated the 100m at the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials, finishing first. However, she missed out on a spot in the 200m after finishing fourth. On the other hand, Jakob Ingebrigtsen will be competing in the 1500m race in a quest to defend his Olympic gold medal.

Eluid Kipchoge will be making his fifth Olympic appearance in the full marathon in Paris. The three of them, being sponsored by Nike, were a part of their signature commercial before the Olympics along with several other athletes from other sports. The commercial for the Paris Olympics carried the slogan, "Winning Isn’t For Everyone."

The commercial, released a week before the commencement of the Paris Olympics, also featured LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Serena Williams, Cristiano Ronaldo, and many other top Nike athletes. American actor, Willem Dafoe narrated the commercial leading to a great build-up showcasing the brand's essence that promotes great athleticism.

"Winning Isn’t For Everyone. It’s for those who do whatever it takes. #WinningIsntForEveryone #Paris2024 @Olympics," read the caption.

Sha'Carri Richardson missed out on the opportunity to participate in the Tokyo Olympics despite qualifying after receiving a one-month suspension just before the quadrennial Games after her sample tested positive for marijuana. She would be marching on to the Paris Olympics after a formidable comeback.

The American athlete spoke to Vogue about her Olympic dream. She revealed her plans to execute a perfect race in Paris after trying multiple tactics in the 2024 season.

“It’s like chess. Every move you make leads to checkmate. So the Olympics, okay, that’s checkmate, that’s the moment an athlete dreams about. But every race I have leading up to that matters too—that’s my opportunity to grow, so by the time I’m on the track in Paris, I know I’ve done my trial and error,” she said.

In her debut Olympics, Richardson would be racing against Shericka Jackson and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce among other top athletes for the pinnacle crown in Paris.
