Gabby Thomas and Simone Biles, who recently dominated at the Paris Olympics in athletics and gymnastics, respectively, were seen meeting WNBA star Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever team post their win. The team nabbed the win after defeating Connecticut Sun at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The Fever gained victory over the Sun with a dominating score of 84-80, amidst which the rookie Caitlin Clark scored 19 points and made her 86th 3-pointer of the season, which is a new league record for attaining the most 3-pointers by a rookie. Following this dominant win, Clark and the team met Olympic champions waiting to meet them.

Thomas and Biles were seen hugging Clark as soon as she came out of the stadium and continued meeting the entire Indiana Fever team. The team was seen extremely happy after meeting the gymnast and the sprinter, and almost every one of them, including Victoria Saxton, Aliyah Boston, Temi Fagnele, NaLyssa Smith, and others, posed with Simone and Gabby.

Addressing their excitement, Biles ecstatically said:

"They're so excited. Oh my god. It's like the boys would usually pass, but they're so excited."

The Indiana Fever shared the video of this meetup and wrote in the caption:

"The squad was ecstatic to meet @simonebiles and @gabbythomas after our win at @gainbridgefieldhouse."

Gabby Thomas relates to Caitlin Clark's pre-game mindset

Gabby Thomas recently agreed with Caitlin Clark's mindset of choosing silence over listening to music before her matches. In an interview, the basketball star said:

"I dont listen to music before a game... I like silence."

Resonating with it, Thomas re-shared the reel of Clark's statement on her Instagram story and complained that she always says this to people but nobody understands:

"I always tell people this and nobody understands😭"

Thomas dominated during the Paris Olympics, as she won three gold medals in the 200m, 4x100m relay, and 4x400m relay dashes. She clocked a time of 21.83s and trounced Julien Alfred and Brittany Brown, who secured second and third place in the event.

A few days after winning the Olympic medals, the 27-year-old opened up about her biggest challenge as an Olympian and said:

"I think the biggest challenge that I have experienced in my life as an Olympian is the feeling of belonging and feeling like I really belong to these settings. It feels really special to be here and I have the maturity as an athlete just to know that I belong here and know what I am capable of."

Thomas is expected to be seen next at Alexis Ohanian's Athlos NYC meet, which is slated to be held on Sept. 26, at the Ichan Stadium.
