With elite athletes such as Simone Biles, Katie Ledecky, Noah Lyles, and Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone gearing up to compete on the world's greatest stage, American singer and songwriter, Beyonce extended her wishes to the American athletes. The pop star extended her wishes through a captivating video featuring the American athletes.
592 athletes (including 278 men and 314 women) are representing the USA in Paris. Otherwise known as "Queen Bey," Beyonce shared a promotional video following the opening ceremony, where she was seen welcoming the athletes in her distinctive pop-star flair.
She is donning a sparkling leotard, representing the colors of the USA national flag. She paired it with a cowboy hat, boots, and a stunning and massive pullover and dazzling nail art, studded with diamonds while resembling the national flag. Her majestic pullover features the Olympic rings on the back.
The 42-year-old introduces the elite athletes, representing the country, including the legendary gymnast Biles, and her teammates Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, and the men's gymnastics team.
Other sports icons, including Katie Ledecky, Noah Lyles, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, Gabby Thomas, Grant Holloway, and Tara Davis-Woodhall are seen grooving to the beats of her song "YA YA" from her recent album "Cowboy Carter". Further in the video Beyonce praises specific athletes, including Caeleb Dressel, Biles, Ledecky, and Sha'Carri Richardson.
"Come on, you’ve gotta love Noah and Sha’Carri," Beyonce says in the video. "How about Caeleb? Proud Papa, back in the drink for more gold. And Katie? The longer the race, the better she swims. And I know you know my girl Simone (Biles). Born to fly, destined to inspire."

"We can kind of lean on each other" - Simone Biles affirms the U.S. women's gymnastics team will stick together at the Olympics
Along with Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles, Suni Lee, Hezly Rivera, Jade Carey, Joscelyn Roberson, and Leanne Wong will also represent the USA in Paris.
Simone Biles, Chiles, and Lee secured a silver medal in the team event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. With their sights fixed on the Olympic gold medal, the three will serve as veterans to Roberson and Wong. In an interview with "Olympics.com", Biles stated that all the girls are supportive of each other to achieve their goals.
"We can kind of lean on each other,” Simone Biles said. “That’s what girls' girls do. That’s what we’re going to do. We’re just going to go out there and make it happen.”
The women's gymnastics events at the Paris Olympics will kick off on July 28, 2024.
