The 2020 Tokyo Olympics all-around gold medalist and uneven bars bronze medalist Suni Lee produced a superb performance yet again in the latter apparatus during the Women's Gymnastics Team all-around finals. This came during the second rotation of the event in the Bercy Arena.
Even though Lee faltered a little in the middle of her routine, she picked herself up quite strongly and earned a superb 14.566 points in the apparatus. Lee's score was the highest for the United States women's gymnastics team on the uneven bars apparatus in the finals.

This was Lee's first rotation in the all-important finals as she didn't perform on the vault. Her teammates Simone Biles, Jade Carey, and Jordan Chiles took the onus on the apparatus.
In the uneven bars apparatus, Chiles went first for Team USA, scoring 14.366 points, and Biles followed by adding 14.400 points to the tally. After the uneven bars apparatus, Team USA led the scoring charts with a staggering 87.72 points with Italy behind in the second position.
The USA women's gymnastics team also showcased a strong performance during the first rotation on the vault, putting up a strong 44.100 points. Biles scored 14.900, followed by Carey and Chiles who scored 14.800 and 14.400 points respectively.
Suni Lee featured in two more rotations - the balance beam and floor exercise apparatus - as the USA women's gymnastics team clinched the gold at the Paris Olympics.

After a solid showing at the age of 18 during her last Olympic outing in Tokyo, Suni Lee got her 'A' game going again during the qualification stages of the 2024 Paris Olympics. She earned the qualification for the finals in three events - all-around, balance beam, and uneven bars.
In the individual all-around event, Lee will look to defend her title during the finals after scoring a staggering 55.162 points in the qualification stage. The reigning all-around Olympic champion will compete against her teammate and five-time Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles in the all-around event finals scheduled to be held on August 1 (Thursday).
Besides the all-around apparatus, Lee will also aim for a title in the uneven bars and balance beam apparatus in the finals after qualifying for the events on Sunday (July 28).
