Stephen Nedoroscik had a spectacular campaign at the Paris Olympics. After helping the USA win bronze in the team event, he clinched an individual bronze on the pommel horse a handful of days later. Upon the conclusion of the Games, the gymnast has been exploring his talent as a dancer on the reality show ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and he recently opened up about his relationship with his on-screen partner Rylee Arnold.

Nedoroscik and Arnold have been a huge hit among fans since the show commenced. The duo often engage in various social media trends together and update their fans on what their training behind the scenes looks like.

In a recent interview with Joe Vulpis, Stephen Nedoroscik revealed that he and Arnold were friends even outside of the studio, saying,

“Me and Rylee, we're not just like coach and student, we are friends. Rylee has come over to my place and me, Tess (my girlfriend), and Rylee will just play FaceTime with one another, or code games. I did teach Tess how to cube years ago, but she's since forgotten. I taught Rylee one algorithm and she's very proud of herself for being able to do it. She can't do the whole thing, she can do own algorithms.”

Stephen Nedoroscik on teaching Rylee Arnold some pommel horse moves

While Rylee Arnold is the one teaching Stephen Nedoroscik how to dance, the American has introduced his Dancing with the Stars partner to the world of gymnastics as well.

In the same interview, the Paris Olympics bronze medalist revealed that he'd given Arnold a couple of lessons on the pommel horse, and had been surprised at how quickly she was able to learn.

“She actually did surprisingly well. Like the thing about pommel horse is, it's not way at all. And I was a little worried, she kinda struggled doing a push-up and I was like ‘she might have trouble supporting herself on the horse’. But like, over the hour that we were there, she was able to do a full leg cut and back.”

Nedoroscik went on to emphasize the difficulty of what Arnold executed, saying,

“And like, the motion that she does, it looks so simple, but the amount of attention to your shoulder, the wrists, the toes, the knees, that’s just (difficult). It was kind of fun, because it was my introduction to her of my world.”

Stephen Nedoroscik has so far managed to excel on Dancing With The Stars. He scored 22/30 after his week two performance which placed him and Arnold third in the rankings.
