Thomas' high school days laid the foundation for the sprinter's remarkable athletics career. The 27-year-old attended the Williston Northampton School, where she was inducted into her first track and field team. The two-time Olympic medalist set multiple records during the four years of her high school.

Thomas recently shared a picture of a scoreboard, showcasing her high school track and field records. She registered her 100m high school record clocking 11.71 seconds. Her pet event - the 200m - in which her personal best time is 21.60 seconds, her high school record stands at 24.75 seconds.

The scoreboard also showed that the two-time World Champion competed in jumping events, including the long and triple jump. She holds decent high school records of 19'5.50" (2014) and 40'7" (2015) in long jump and triple jump, respectively.

Thomas, who was a part of the gold-medal winning team in the 4x100m relay at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest also holds the high school record in the same event along with Sideya Dill, Lena Gandevia, and Rebecca Sundel. The team achieved the feat after clocking 49.76 seconds.

Thomas shared the picture of the scoreboard with the fans on her Instagram story and wrote:
