Jade Carey recently expressed her optimistic belief that the USA women's gymnastics team will make a strong comeback at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Carey will represent the American women's gymnastics team along with Simone Biles, Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Hezly Rivera, and traveling alternates Leanne Wong and Joscelyn Roberson.

The 2020 Tokyo Olympics' USA women's gymnastics squad, including Biles, Chiles, Lee, and Grace McCallum secured a silver medal in the team event after collecting 166.096 points, following the ROC squad. Although Carey did not compete with the team in Tokyo, she contended in the individual floor event.

Three summers later, with the Paris Olympics drawing near, Carey is confident that this year's team will elevate their performance and transform the last Olympic's silver medal into gold. In an interview with "ENews", the 24-year-old emphasized the difficulty of making it to the Olympic team and shared what would it mean to win a team gold medal.

"I think this is probably the hardest it's been in a really long time to even make the team," Jade said. "Winning team gold would mean a lot to us girls who do make the team because we want to show that we're stronger than we were before."
