Noah Lyles' mother, Keisha Bishop had a hilarious exchange with his girlfriend Junelle Bromfield during the victory parade celebrating his achievement at the Paris Olympics. The American athlete had returned to his hometown of Alexandria after winning two gold medals and registering the most successful Olympic campaign of his career so far.
Along with a grand welcome in his hometown, Noah Lyles received a resolution from the State of Virginia as an expression of admiration for his continued success and achievements on the track. The American athlete sat in a convertible car as he was greeted by fans and showcased his Olympic medals.
Lyles' girlfriend Junelle Bromfield was sitting in the front seat and had a hilarious exchange with his mother Keisha Bishop who took a video and shared it on Instagram.
Bromfield was holding a bag while sitting in the front and his mother hilariously asked her about her role in the convertible during the victory parade.
"What's your job?" she exclaimed.
To which Bromfield replied:
"You know to just throw stuff. I will be giving it to him to throw."

The bag with Bromfield had Adidas caps which Lyles was giving away to supporters who had come during the victory parade.
Noah Lyles on receiving incredible support from his mother
Noah Lyles has always been vocal about the support he received from his mother growing up as an athlete. After struggling with asthma and lack of confidence as a young athlete, his mother, being a former athlete stood as a strong support for him which helped him overcome the barriers to achieve monumental success.
He spoke about her role in his success at the Paris Olympics in an interview with Access Hollywood.
"I have a very supportive team and my mom is a part of that, my momager as some people know her to be. She's been most of the reason why I have been able to go out and achieve my dreams. She sacrificed and put her goals and ambitions for her children up front so that we could go out and shoot for the stars and go for everything to the best of our ability."
Furthermore, he revealed how she sacrificed her dreams so that he and his brother, Josephus could completely focus on running and competing.
