Within a month following her debut Olympic glory in Paris, Sha'Carri Richardson is all set to amaze the fans at the 2024 Zurich Diamond League. She will return to compete in the 100m at the near century-old Letzigrund Stadium Zurich on Wednesday, September 5, 2024.
The American will be seen competing in the 100m sprint event at 20:26 (local time, UTC+2/GMT+2). Richardson will reunite with Julien Alfred, Daryll Neita, Tia Clayton, Kambudji Mujinga, and Marie Josee Ta Lou-Smith, her recent Olympics' 100m final competitors, to face them again in a thrilling new competition.
At the Stade de France track, the Saint Lucian sprinter Alfred claimed her nation's first historic Olympic gold medal with an impressive time of 10.72 seconds. She was followed by America's favorite Richardson with 10.87 seconds. The Paris Olympics 100m finalists, including Daryll who clocked 10.96 seconds, Mujinga (10.99 seconds), Clayton (11.04 seconds), and Ta Lou-Smith (13.84 seconds) will lock horns with Richardson on the weekend.
Apart from her silver medal victory at the French capital, Richardson also clinched a gold medal in the women's 4x100m relay race along with Melissa Jefferson, Gabyy Thomas, and Twanisha Terry. Richardson recorded the fastest anchor leg, leading the team to the top place on the podium with 10.09 seconds.
The American squad won the women's 4x100m relay after posting 41.78 to surpass the British and German squads, who listed 41.85 and 41.97 seconds, respectively.

The two-time Olympic medalist was seen training in a plain Nike two-piece outfit. She donned a crop training top with only a Nike sign and black hot shorts, completing the look with a pair of white Nike shoes and white headphones. She completed the look with her signature unique hairstyle.
Richardson signed an estimated $20m deal with Nike till 2028 before the 2024 Paris Games.
