When is Simone Biles competing at the U.S. Gymnastics Olympic Team Trials 2024? Everything about the gymnast's schedule

Simone Biles is one of the greatest artistic gymnasts to ever grace the sport. Having collected 23 gold, 4 silver, and 3 bronze medals, she stands out as the most decorated gymnast in the history of the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships.

Biles will be contending to secure a place in her third U.S. Olympic team at the 2024 U.S. Gymnastics Olympic Team Trials. The 26-year-old will compete in the Women’s Day 1 and Day 2 competitions, slated for June 28 and 30, 2024, at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

On Day 1 of the U.S. Gymnastics Olympic Team Trials, Simone Biles will begin her first rotation on the uneven bars. She will perform her second rotation on the balance beam. Next, she will tackle the floor exercise in her third rotation. Finally, she will conclude with the vault in the fourth rotation.

Meanwhile, on Day 2 of the U.S. Gymnastics Olympic Team Trials, Biles will start her first rotation in the vault, move to the uneven bars in the second rotation, perform her third rotation on the balance beam, and conclude her trials’ campaign with the floor exercises in the fourth rotation.

USA Gymnastics, the national governing body for the sport, shared the rotation schedule for the women’s Day 1 and Day 2 competitions on their X (previously Twitter):

The seven-time Olympic medalist will be heading into the trials after exceptional performances at the 2024 U.S. Championships and Core Hydration Classic, in which she topped the all-around, securing overall 19.750 and 59.500 points, respectively. In addition, her performance in the all-around during the preliminaries of 60.450 points at the Xfinity U.S. Championships was her highest total since 2021.

At the 2020 U.S. Gymnastics Olympic Team Trials, Simone Biles displayed a phenomenal performance by topping the overall women’s all-around to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. During the preliminaries, Biles achieved a total of 60.565 points and added 57.533 more points to her tally to collect a total of 118.098.

She finished 2.266 points ahead of the second-placed Suni Lee in the women’s all-around at the 2020 U.S. Gymnastics Olympic Trials. With this dominating show in the all-around, Biles ensured herself a place in the USA’s women’s Olympic team for the Summer Games in Tokyo.
