"It is a good feeling being around her" - Alana Reid on training alongside Sha'Carri Richardson
The Jamaican sprinter moved to Florida in October 2023 to train under American Olympic champion Dennis Mitchell at the Star Athletics Track Club. The training club is home to elite athletes, including Sha'Carri Richardson, Aaron Brown and, and Twanish Terry.
During an interview with Olympics.com earlier this year, she expressed her delight in training alongside the 2023 World Champion.
“Where Sha’Carri is concerned, it is a good feeling being around her. She teaches me a lot and she shows me a lot of stuff. There are times when I will make a few errors, and she will put me aside and say whatever," Alana Reid said.
