Who's Number One 2024 results: Bo Bassett and Janiya Johnson triumph the battle between USA's Top High School Wrestlers

The best high schoolers in the United States of America recently locked horns at Who's Number One, the most prestigious high school wrestling event in the country. The 12th edition of the Who’s Number One event was scheduled on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown Sports Center.

The fans were treated to a few electrifying and stunning faceoffs, including Bo Bassett vs Daniel Zepeda, Jayden James vs Collin Gaj, Heather Crull vs Taylor Whiting, Jax Forrest vs Seth Mendoza, and Morgan Turner vs Julia Horger. Results of the 2024 Who's Number One

Seventh grader and ranked 1 Bo Bassett defeated no.2 Daniel Zepeda by a decisive win of 12-6. With 23 seconds left, Bassett scored his last point, securing the win in the 144 lbs category of the Who's Number One event.

Anthony Knox secured the win in the 126lbs category after a hard-fought bout against Aaron Seidel, leading 3-2. With the first half of the bout remaining scoreless, Knox secured a three-point takedown with 12 seconds left on the clock.

Janiya Johnson defeated Sarah Pulk with a clear superiority 10-0 in the girls' 155lbs category at the 2024 Who's Number One wrestling event. After scoring three takedowns Aubre Krazer earned a clear victory over Taina McGowan 10-0, in the 130 lbs category.
