Tara Davis-Woodhall hilariously requested the person behind the camera to not film her struggles as she failed most of her workout routines at the gym. Davis-Woodhall resumed training months after the Paris Olympics and stepped into her new role at the K-State University.
Tara Davis-Woodhall clinched the long jump victory at the 2024 World Indoor Championships, building up to the Olympic Games in Paris. In the Paris finals, she covered a distance of 7.10m to win the competition. After her success in the French capital, the long jumper stepped up as the assistant track coach at Kansas State University.
After enjoying some time off training, busying herself with attending events and ad shoots alongside her husband, Tara Davis-Woodhall shared a video montage to offer a glimpse of her struggles in the K-State gym.
At the beginning of the clip shared via her Instagram handle shared on Friday, December 27, the Olympian complained:
"Why do you bring out the camera when I'm struggling?" she said while laughing.
As she dropped the bar, she joked about her failure and asked to stop filming.
"Don't film that"
Following a couple more failures and continuous giggles, she confessed:
"I just farted."
The video ended with the long jumper wearing sunglasses and drinking from GOAT's Stanley Cup, highlighting the importance of hydration with wordplay.
"This is how you be the GOAT. Hydration baby"
Besides winning the Olympic gold medal, another highlight of Tara Davis-Woodhall's Olympic campaign was being cheered on by her husband, Hunter Woodhall. Hunter participated in the Paris Paralympic Games, winning his debut gold in the 400m T62.
Tara Davis-Woodhall engaged in a fun banter with husband Hunter Woodhall as the latter helped her with stretching exercises
When Tara Davis-Woodhall was appointed K-State's assistant track coach, her husband also accompanied her to Kansas since they trained under the same coach, the K-State track team's head coach, Travis Geopfert.
Amid hard days on the track and in the gym, the Woodhalls engaged in fun banter. On December 15, Hunter helped his wife with stretching exercises, claiming that his treatment was special and scientific, but the latter was getting it for free for a reason.
"It's Hunter's treatment. It's very special, very scientific. But if you have to ask you can't afford it. So Tara gets it for free. Pays for all my stuff, pays for my life."
To which the Olympic long jump gold medalist replied:
"To be fair, does pay the bills. I just buy the house. Fair trade. That's how equality works."
The Paralympian then listed the chores he does, saying:
"I cook, I clean, I take care of the animals."
His wife then established that the roof over his head, which she bought, holds more value.
"He has a roof over his head."
Hunter took his stand and said:
"And I work for it."
Tara Davis-Woodhall was also a part of the US team at the 2020 Summer Games. However, in her debut Games stint, she narrowly missed the long jump podium, taking sixth position.
