"Will he even start?","Good luck bud"- Fans react as AJ Ferrari's younger brother Angelo sends a fiery warning to Carter Starocci

Angelo Ferrari, brother of WWE star AJ Ferrari, recently called out 4x NCAA Champion Carter Starocci for a fight. Angelo even claimed that he wanted to ‘destroy a certain someone’, and it wasn't hard to guess who that was as the Penn State wrestler flashed in the background visuals.

Angelo, part of the Iowa Hawkeyes program and deemed one of the brightest prospects for 2024, shared a cryptic post on his TikTok handle. While it emulated the tone of the Naruto manga series, Angelo claimed through Sasuke Uchiha's voice that he wanted to destroy Carter Starocci, whose image flaunted in the background at the exact moment.

Angelo comes from a wrestling background, and the fight against Starocci could be one of the most exciting ones in collegiate circles. However, his weight hasn't been confirmed yet for 2024. Nor has Starocci announced the intentions of coming back for a fifth year to Penn State. So, fans will have to wait before these two go against each other on the mat.

Yet, Carter Starocci's admirers didn't shy away from criticizing Angelo Ferrari’s claims. Some of the fans questioned whether the rookie wrestler would even be in the starting team.

"Wil he even start?", a fan asked.

"He won’t even compete in the lineup next year, let alone that weight. so how is he supposed to beat them??", another fan said.

"I'm thinking the WWE is a good place for the Ferraris. That's the only place that would put up with their shenanigans", a user expressed.

Other fans simply wrote off Angelo if he were to go up against the four-time national champion, claiming that he had no chance of beating Starocci.

While Carter Starocci lost in the quarter-finals at U.S Wrestling Olympic Team Trials 2024, he made sure to be there supporting his teammates from Penn State. His teammate, Mitchell Mesenberk, fought against Jordan Burroughs in the semifinals but Starocci wasn't best pleased with the fight.

After the whistle had blown, Mesenberk continued to wrestle Burroughs, who later shoved the former's face into the mat. But it didn't go well with Starocci, who claimed that had it been him in place of Mesenberk, he would have spit at Burroughs.

"If I was Mitchell Mesenbrink and he jammed my face into the mat, I would’ve spit in his face. You’re not going to jam my face in the mat. I kind of wish Mitch would have done something.”, Starocci said.

However, the 4x NCAA Champion also appreciated Jordan Burroughs' career, but added that it didn't matter much.
