Simone Biles called out people who judge her and the other athletes from the comfort of their home couch. She lashed out at people who called her a 'quitter' and 'loser'.
Biles, the most decorated gymnast in history with 37 medals across the Olympics and World Championships, faced 'twisties' midway through her vault routine and withdrew from the competition, ending her gold-medal winning bid at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Following her rule out, she received hateful comments from fans, who called her 'quitter' and 'loser'. (via Simone Biles Rising).
She lashed out at the people belittling her, claiming that they don't know how to do a 'cartwheel' but giving their 'two cents' to Biles.
"I really don't need your two cents. And not your two cents because you guys can't even do a cartwheel," she said.
In her latest Instagram story, Simone Biles shared a meme which told the story of fans who watch the gymnasts on TV and comment on their landings. She called them out, claiming that people coach and judge from their home's comfort without comprehending the gymnast's position on the global stage.
"No forreal y'all always couch judging and coaching," she wrote in her story caption.

The original post read:
"Olympic gymnast does a slight wobble after a never before seen or attempted tumbling combo. Me on my couch covered in Cheetos: "Yea... you gotta stick that landing."
The four-time Olympic medalist will take the Paris Olympic stage on July 30, 2024, in pursuit of extending her gold medal tally to ten. She will face the contentious line-up as the top seed, having earned her ninth National title and seventh US Classic title in the Olympic tune-up.
Simone Biles overwhelmed at fan reacting to her newly released docuseries
The docuseries that hit the Netflix screens on July 17, 2024, was one of the biggest achievements of hers in the Olympic year. She garnered immense fan love for putting forth her vulnerable side, talking about her mental health struggles following the 'twisties' at the Tokyo Olympics.
