The Zürich Diamond League 2024 will take place on September 4 and 5, 2024 marking the penultimate track event of the Diamond League series of the Olympic year. Mondo Duplantis will be returning to the Zürich Diamond League 2024 after breaking two world records within a month. After setting the world record at the Paris Olympics with a performance of 6.25 m, he marched onto the Silesia Diamond League where he broke the world record bettering his previous record with a performance of 6.26m
In the process, Duplantis broke the world record for the tenth time in his career. He will be competing against Paris Olympics silver medalist Sam Kendricks. Moreover, the Swedish athlete will be participating in an exhibition 100m race against 400m world record holder Karsten Warholm on September 4, 2024, at the Letzigrund Stadium.
#4 Karsten Warholm
The 400m hurdles world record holder Karsten Warholm will be making an appearance at the event after losing the top podium position to USA's Rai Benjamin. Alison Dos Santos and CJ Allen are some of his top competitors in the event.

Paris Olympic champion Letsile Tebogo will be marching on to the Zürich Diamond League 2024 hoping to continue his unbeaten streak since the quadrennial games in the French capital. The 200m Olympic champion competed in all the Diamond League events -Laussane, Silesia, and Rome post the Paris Olympics and emerged victorious in every race.
He is set to go head to head in the 200m against Kenny Bednarek, Fred Kerley, and Erriyon Knighton among others for the title in Zürich.

Sha'Carri Richardson will be making her first track appearance after winning two medals in her debut Olympic campaign at the French capital. She will be competing against the 100m Olympic champion Julien Alfred for the title. Some of her other top competitors include Dina Asher-Smith, Tia Clayton, and Daryll Neita.

#1 Jakob Ingebrigtsen
Jakob Ingebrigtsen who is currently in peak form will be competing at the Zürich Diamond League. The Norwegian recently broke the world record in the 3000m at the Silesia Diamond League and he will be competing against the top three podium finishers from the Paris Olympics.
