The Olympics sees roughly 200 teams from sovereign governments all over the world competing in several different sports with thousands of competitors to put on one of the greatest sporting spectacles in the history of mankind.

The Games usually take the place of any world championships held in the same year that they are held, which is every four years. Notably, the 2024 Summer Olympics will be hosted by Paris, France, with the games taking place from July 26 to August 11. In almost two weeks, 32 sports will be played across 16 different locations with a total of 329 events. This will also mark 100 years since Paris last hosted the games.

What is the 2024 Paris Olympic theme song?

"Parade," created by Victor Le Manse and recorded with the Orchestre National de France, is the official theme song of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

Upon the arrival of the Olympic Flame in Marseille on May 8 at 7:30 p.m., the "Parade" was performed before the Marseille orchestra opened the Game celebrations in France with a live performance of it from the Palais du Pharo. Notably, the Orchestre National de France and the Choeur et Maîtrise de Radio France recorded this musical theme, which will be played during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The intention of the song is to evoke the passion of sports to follow all of the games' highlights, from the arrival of the Olympic Flame in Marseille to each step of the relay and the tournament venues.
