Pieter Quinton is an American professional rower. Born on February 11, 1998, he competed at Harvard University and the University of Washington. He will make his Olympic debut at the 2024 Paris Games as part of the United States Men's Eight (M8) rowing team.

Growing up in Portland, Oregon, Pieter Quinton was introduced to rowing in 2011 via the summer novice program at Rose City Rowing Club. By 2015, he excelled in the sport, securing fourth place at the Junior World Championship and third in 2016. He also won the Northwest Regional championship in the men's eight the same year.

Pieter Quinton graduated from Harvard University. He later transferred to the University of Washington for his Master's, majoring in Public Administration. He competed in rowing on various boats, including the top varsity eight. However, his senior season at Harvard was interrupted by COVID-19, leading him to transfer to the University of Washington for his final year.

As a graduate student at the University of Washington, Pieter Quinton earned second-team All-America honors from the IRCA. He also was named to the IRCA Scholar-Athlete and IRA All-Academic teams. He competed in several rowing boats including the Varsity 8+ and Varsity 4+. Quinton helped his team defeat Stanford and California. He was in the seven-seat for the Varsity 8+ victories at both the Pac-12 Championships and the IRA National Championships.
