Rachel Sung is a table tennis player representing the United States in the upcoming Paris Summer Olympics 2024. She is known for her doubles partnership with Amy Wang and their combined achievements in national and international competitions. Rachel Sung recently secured her spot in the Olympic Games Paris 2024, marking a milestone in her career alongside Wang and Lily Zhang.

Hailing from San Jose, CA, Rachel Sung represented Team USA in Table Tennis at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile, where she competed in the Doubles - Women and Team - Women events. At the age of 19, her career included appearances at the World Junior Championships in Vila Nova de Gaia, in 2021, where she participated in Doubles - Women, Team-women, and Singles-women categories. Rachel has notably competed in multiple World Championships, achieving a top finish of 17th place in Doubles - Women events in 2021 and 2023.

During the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in West Monroe, Louisiana, Sung played in a crucial semi-final match against Sally Moyland. Despite facing tough competition, Sung secured her Olympic berth with a decisive play in the sixth game. Having started playing table tennis at a young age, Sung and Wang have grown up together in the sport.

At the 2023 U.S. National Table Tennis Championships, she clinched first place in Women’s Doubles and secured third place in both the Hsing Family U21 Women's Singles and Women’s Singles categories, as well as Mixed Doubles and U4700 Doubles. Her successes continued at the 2022 U.S. Open Table Tennis Championships with a first-place finish in U21 Women’s Singles and Women’s Doubles and a second-place finish in Mixed Doubles and U19 Girls’ Doubles. Additionally, Rachel has garnered medals at the 2019 and 2022 US National Championships, 2019 ITTF Junior and Cadet Opens, and various other prestigious tournaments.
