
Born in Denver, Colorado, Rylan William Kissell is an American professional shooter who won a gold medal at the 2024 CAT Games. He won a bronze medal at the 2024 Meyton Cup in the Men’s 10m Air Rifle category. He moved to the US Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado to train for the 2024 Paris Olympics. William Kissell received a scholarship from the University of Alaska Fairbanks to compete on their Rifle team.
He was awarded the 2021 CRCA Rifle Athlete of the Year and the NCAA All-American title. At the 2023 Pan American Games, he won silver at the men’s Air Rifle and gold at the mixed team Air Rifle. He holds the 39th spot in the World Rankings at the 10m Air Rifle Men and the 45th ranking at the 50m Rifle 3 Positions.
William Kissell won one gold and one silver medal at the World Championships. He also won a gold medal in the Shooting World Cup and emerged victorious as the 2018 State Junior Olympic Champion. He completed his schooling at Dakota Ridge High School in Littleton, Colorado.
