Sammy Sullivan is an American professional rugby player, competing in the U.S. National Sevens team. Born on May 22, 1998, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, she honed her talents at the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York, where she played 7s and 15s rugby for the Army Black Knights.

Sammy Sullivan began her journey in Fayetteville, North Carolina, where she graduated from Jack Britt High School. Her rugby career started at Army West Point, known for its top collegiate rugby program.

Sammy Sullivan's hard work paid off when she won the 2019 Prusmack Award, given to the best college rugby sevens players. As a Captain in the World Class Athlete Program, she managed her Army career with rugby. She was invited to the 2022 Pacific Four Series with the USA Women's Eagles, where she played against Canada. Later that year, she competed in the USA Women’s Sevens at the Rugby World Cup Sevens in Cape Town and the World Rugby Sevens Series in Dubai. In June 2024, she earned a spot on the U.S. team for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
